NOTICE

This Law Student Registration application does not constitute or trigger your registration to sit for an Illinois bar examination. In order to register for an Illinois bar exam, you must submit a separate application to take the bar exam and pay an additional bar exam filing fee. It is your responsibility to return to this website to complete and submit this separate application, when it becomes available, and pay the additional filing fee. The Illinois bar examination is given annually in February and in July. At present, the regular application filing deadline for the February examination is the preceding September 1, and applications are posted on this website on or about the preceding August 1; the regular application filing deadline for the July examination is the preceding February 1, and applications are posted on this website on or about the preceding January 1.
